Would you like an opportunity to get involved at OHS, have a pipeline to prospective employees, and/or be able to teach students about your business?

Check out these opportunities to see how your business and OHS can best work together to make our community even stronger:

*Governors Work Ethic Certificate: [Available to Seniors] The students receiving the certificates will have been measured in nine areas of academic and employability skills competencies. These certificates include five subjective measures (persistence, respectfulness, initiative, dependability, and efficiency) which will require three teachers to sign stating that the student has met these requirements. Students must also have a 2.0+ GPA, complete volunteer hours, obtain a 98% attendance rate, and have no more than 1 minor discipline referral. Businesses willing to give added perks to attract students receiving the GWEC will be able to have access to a potentially strong employee pool. *Grade Level Sponsors: We would like to pair a business with each of our grade-levels (7-12) and do learning opportunities based around that company’s needs throughout the year while we are teaching students in our regular education classes. This is an opportunity for businesses to get into the schools to teach students about their business, about all the careers available at that business, and get a sampling of how to do many of the jobs available at that business while also seeing how their education now can help prepare them for the future.
