Room 120

Room 120 works within the business they created, The Orleans Support Staff, to earn a paycheck. They are responsible for package and mail delivery, shredding papers, sharpening pencils and many other jobs within the school. Every two weeks they get their paychecks and they choose if they want to budget and buy in our classroom store, or save for a bigger reward like 30 minutes of their favorite classroom activity. It has been a big success and the kids are learning many real life skills. Way to go life skills kids!!!

The additions are board-approved and concern inappropriate use of another person's image and or personal information. Policy is found on page 6 of the Combined Student Handbooks and in the discipline matrix #29 on page 39. Please contact Mr. Tim Day, Principal, with any concerns or questions.

In the Spotlight

The Orleans High School girls' basketball program had a season to remember, setting new milestones and making history on the court.

The Varsity team posted an impressive 18-6 record, the second-most wins in school history, just behind last year’s squad. They dominated conference play, going 6-0 in the PLAC to claim only the second conference title in program history. Their 12-game winning streak set a new school record, and they captured the Orleans Holiday Tournament championship for the second consecutive year. The Bulldogs battled through the postseason, earning wins over North Daviess and Barr Reeve before falling in the sectional final to Vincennes Rivet.

Not to be outdone, the JV team put together an equally remarkable campaign, finishing with a 15-2 record. They strung together an incredible 13-game winning streak and went 5-0 in PLAC play to claim the conference championship.

Both teams’ dedication and perseverance showcased the strength of the Orleans girls’ basketball program. Way to go, Bulldogs!
